About Britney
Hi I’m Britney and I’m a Support Coordinator at Triangle Theory.
My story began in the early years learning sector where I supported many children with a range of diverse needs. This role involved working not only with the child but with their family and the therapists they were supported by also, to ensure the best possible care and education was provided to them so that they could continue to grow and develop as individuals.
This made me want to support children and their families further, so I began my journey in the disability sector as a Support Coordinator. Support Coordination has given me an incredible opportunity to provide a deeper level of support to children and their families and also to adults, who are living with a range of diagnoses including physical and intellectual disability.
I feel that the most important element of Support Coordination is to focus on getting to know the people you support and understanding what they value most in their lives. This helps to form a meaningful connection so that I can build their knowledge of the NDIS and the supports that can help them to achieve their goals. I feel so proud to be able to do this role and can’t wait to continue to support participants navigating their journeys!
